Video Post: Columbia Outdry Ex Platinum Tech Shell Jacket Review

Thesis Theme for WordPress: Options Galore and a Helpful Support Community

Are you headed to wetter climes? A rainforest trek or a boat cruise perhaps? This is your jacket—I review a new waterproof-breathable shell that may just keep you drier than any other.

In This Gear Video You Will Discover:

  • How Waterproof Breathable Fabrics Work
  • How OutDry Extreme Aims to Improve
  • Pros & Cons of this New Jacket

My friends (and working peers) are often envious that I test outdoor gear for explore magazine. But they shouldn’t be—it’s actually a lot of work. Sometimes I, and other testers, spend days or even weeks with a product just to publish 75 or 100 words.

(Only to get accused of “shilling” or “advertising” by some jaded readers.)

Well, let me assure you that we really do test our gear. Eagle-eyed readers can scan through my far-flung adventure-travel videos on YouTube, then peep online gear reviews HERE, and see the same stuff in both. If I give something the thumbs up—it performs.

Negative reviews? Nah. We leave the junk on the shelf. We’re also very selective about what we spend our time with. Like I said, it’s a lot of work.

Video reviews are new for me. This is my first one, below, for explore magazine. More to come! Enjoy. (And seriously, this jacket is pretty slick.)
