Video Post: Exciting Helicopter Tour Over Tofino, BC

tofino-helicopter

Have you ever been in a chopper? It’s pretty much awesome. Join me on a flightseeing tour over Tofino, British Columbia in a high-flying helicopter.

In This Travel Video You Will Discover:

  • Roaming Black Bears
  • A Leviathan Gray Whale
  • Trackless Wilds
  • Wild Pacific Beaches
  • And more!

Tofino, British Columbia, is one of my favourite places. Located on the western edge of Canada, it is surrounded by a wild Pacific biosphere that harbours one of the richest concentrations of life on the globe. Whales, wolves, bears, salmon and eagles, as well as evergreens that pre-date the printing press, are abundant. Plus, you can surf.

If you haven’t been—go.

Recently, I spent a weekend there to craft a couple of articles for Explore and British Columbia magazines. (The Explore article is out this week.)

I also shot this two-minute-long video of an awesome flightseeing tour I took with Atleo River Air Service. Check it out here, then check it out for real when you’re in Tofino. (Because after you see this, you’ll want to go.)
