Video Blog: Underwater in Aruba

WEBB_snorkel

Join me on an underwater snorkelling adventure in the calm, cerulean waters of Aruba. With up to 120 feet of visibility, this could be the Caribbean’s best snorkel destination.

In This Video Blog You Will Discover:

  • The unbelievable clarity of Aruba’s waters
  • The colourful tropical fish
  • Stunning coral formations

Captain Anthony Hagedoorn, owner of Tranquilo Charters, promised me that Spanish Lagoon and Mike’s Reef offered Aruba’s best snorkelling. Mike’s Reef is named after his father, who pioneered drift snorkel tours here in 1977 — so while Anthony may be biased, he’s surely not wrong. Mild waters with staggering clarity, abundant fish life and otherworldly coral formations beckon to watermen like myself. But don’t take my word for it, see for yourself:
