Photo Essay: Essential Destinations in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

san-jose-del-cabo

Is Cabo San Lucas and the surrounding area the ultimate easy vacation getaway for West Coast travellers? I say, it is!

In This Photo Essay You Will Discover

  • The Beaches of Cabo
  • The Resort Life
  • Downtown Cabo San Lucas
  • And More!

Sometimes, you just need a week or two to relax. No complicated itineraries, no 18-hour flights… just an easy beach vacation with hot weather and cold drinks. That’s why Cabo San Lucas is so popular, especially for travellers on the West Coast of North America. Residents of British Columbia, Washington, Oregon and California can easily find quick and cheap flights (from Vancouver [YVR], Seattle [SEA], Portland [PDX] San Francisco [SFO] and Los Angeles [LAX]) — you can leave in the morning and be getting a suntan before the dinner bell strikes.

And don’t underestimate the adventure quotient of the Baja California Sur. Awesome surfing is found throughout the corridor between San Jose Del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas (try Costa Azul Beach), as well as in the surf town of Cerritos, north of Cabo. And while Cabo itself is all margaritas and debauchery, funky and authentic townships litter the Baja, just waiting to be explored. Rent a car, or even better a motorcycle, and get lost!

So without further delay, here is Cabo San Lucas and the surrounding area, in photos. Vamonos!
