Found between Mexico’s Baja Sur and the mainland, the Sea of Cortez is a gorgeous strip of deep-blue that divers travel from around the globe to experience. Full of life, calm and warm, there may be no-better tropical diving location on Earth. Even for the freediver such as myself, it’s a must-do.

All of these photos were taken on the Sea of Cortez side, in bays and lagoons.
Where were most of these pics taken? In Los Cabos the currents were too strong to swim.
